Lead something that matters.

Pre-Registration for this service year

You're closer than you think

What you need to get started

You likely have more in place than you realize. Here's what we're looking for—and how we'll help if you don't have it yet.

Student Leadership

01

At least 2 confirmed leaders to register — one must be President. All 4 roles (President, VP, Treasurer, PR Officer) should be filled by April 30, 2027.

Don't have a co-leader yet? We'll help you recruit one.

Senior Home Connection

02

A confirmed contact person at a local senior living community (usually the Activities Director).

Don't have one? GG National helps you find and connect with one.

Adult Advisor

03

A school staff member (never a parent or guardian). Required for high school chapters; encouraged for college chapters.

No advisor lined up? We'll help with that too.

Registration Fee

04

$150, due November 1, 2026. Pay now via Zeffy or pledge to pay by invoice.

Many chapters fundraise this. Cost should never stop you — reach out if you need help.

Questions?

Good — you're taking this seriously.

Can I start a GlamourGals chapter at my high school or college?

Absolutely! GlamourGals chapters are open to high school and college students across the U.S. and Canada. The process is the same whether you're in a traditional high school, college, or university. Visit glamourgals.org to register — if you're accepted, you'll be placed on a waitlist if we're currently at capacity, and we'll be in touch as spots open up.

What leadership roles are needed to start a chapter?

Every chapter needs at least a Chapter President (who takes the lead in organizing) and one additional leader. You can have up to 4 officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Public Relations Officer. Focus on finding people who are genuinely passionate about the mission — the exact roles matter less than commitment.

How do we find a senior home to partner with?

Once your chapter is registered, our team will help guide you through finding a local senior living community. You can start by researching facilities in your area, or reach out to GG National — we have resources and tips to help you make that first connection. Many facilities have an Activities Director — they're your best point of contact.

Does the advisor have to be a teacher?

For high school chapters, your advisor must be a school staff member (not a parent or guardian). For college chapters, any trusted adult can serve as your advisor — this could be a faculty member, professional staff, or even a committed community member. What matters most is that they're reliable and supportive.

What does the $150 registration fee cover?

Your registration fee supports: access to the GlamourGals chapters platform, program supplies for visits (GG Mini Mirrors, cleansing pads, etc.), chapter t-shirts, training resources, eligibility for national campaigns like My Dear Friend and the Glammy Scholarship Awards, and ongoing support from GG National.

Can we fundraise for the registration fee?

Absolutely! Many chapters fundraise to cover this — it's a great first leadership activity. Bake sales, spirit days, car washes, or reaching out to local businesses for sponsorship are all popular options. Your advisor and school can help support these efforts.

When is the registration fee due?

The $150 registration fee is due November 1, 2026 for new chapters launching this year. You can pay immediately via Zeffy credit card, or pledge to pay by invoice (due the same date). If you need more time or financial support, reach out to us at startachapter@glamourgals.org.

Does GlamourGals allow chapters to operate with two co-presidents?

[Kayla is finalizing the answer to this question. Check back soon, or email startachapter@glamourgals.org for clarification.]
