Thanksgiving Door Hangers

Macey G., a Bay Port High School volunteer, writes about Thanksgiving door hangers to give to senior homes. Her chapter reached their goal in making the hangers for two senior homes!

During today’s meeting, we discussed the Thanksgiving door hangers! We are using our school’s district's LMC department to print coloring book style thanksgiving door hangers in a high volume. Since we are partnering with a new local nursing home with 130 residents. A bit more than our chapter is used too, but I am glad we are all determined to create the best work for this delivery. I thought it would be an amazing idea for us to write a little note on the back of each one, letting them know that they are not alone and that we are thinking of them this holiday. Our chapter also discussed our ideas for the December activity, which we are still finalizing but almost finished :) 

I can't wait to see all the Thanksgiving door hangers and deliver them later this week!!!
