Arm-Knitting Scarves

Bhavya K., a volunteer at Parkway South High, enjoyed knitting scarves to give to seniors during this rewarding and memorable chapter event.

Our chapter recently had an arm-knitting project in which we made scarves for the seniors! This experience was both fun and rewarding as I learned a new skill with which I was able to give to our senior residents. While dropping off the scarves the receptionist let me know that they would be perfect since the seniors often feel cold. Just hearing this was amazing and reminded me of how fulfilling giving manicures will be once we eventually get back to it. All in all, this project went well and I'm very proud of all the volunteers who were able to participate, even without being in person together.
