Power Brunch

Ishika M., a Benjamin N. Cardozo High School volunteer, reflects on the 2021 virtual Power Brunch event that was held in March!

Today I attended my very first virtual Power Brunch. I honestly think GG National did such a great job on making this year's Power Brunch just like the ones we have had in person. As a high school senior, I got to learn so much from today's event. I've been struggling to come to a decision on where I want to commit and the advice I received from the panelists truly gave me a better insight into my choices. I also got more information on the upcoming Glammy Leadership Scholarship. My application for that will be on the way and my breakout group really helped me mentally prepare for that time to come. Lastly, I learned how to make my current resume better and how I'm able to utilize it in the near future. The Power Brunch has always been one of my favorite and most helpful GG events and I hope I get to attend more as an alumna.
