Thanksgiving Notes

Grace C., a Cinnaminson High School volunteer, shares how GlamourGals has helped her adjust to the new school year during a pandemic.

With such a different start to the school year, the ability to make cards for GlamourGals provided me with some much-needed familiarity and solace. It was a perfect chance to give back, while at the same time, getting to do something familiar in this time of so many differences. As an all-remote student, and even for my peers who have been going to school in the hybrid model, there has certainly been an element of school-spirit lacking this year. Our first major GlamourGals event of the year, writing these notes allowed me the opportunity to feel a part of something bigger, and more important. I worked on these cards with my mom, which gave me a chance not only to write notes for the seniors at Riverview but also a chance to spend time with my family.
