Saying Goodbye to GlamourGals

Sophia C., the President of the Tiffin University Chapter, says goodbye to her chapter as she graduates and starts her next adventure.

Honestly, this is probably one of the hardest goodbyes that I have had to do. There are so many different ways I wanted to approach my final event with my amazing seniors. I have engaged with many of the seniors since my freshman year at Tiffin University, and they have become more than familiar faces.  Throughout the four years, we have done makeovers, tea parties, fashion shows, mini olympics, crafts, and so much more. Each event has allowed me to get to know the seniors, and they have become my bonus grandparents and friends.

Not only did I have the opportunity to attend the events and learn more about the seniors, I also had the opportunity to develop my leadership skills. I never thought that I would be the President of my GlamourGals chapter. I took over the end of my sophomore year and had so much fun with this responsibility. I have met amazing people from GlamourGals National and from my school.

GlamourGals has taught me so much throughout my four years. I am going to truly miss scheduling events and thinking of fun creative ways to put smiles on the seniors’ faces. I can't wait to see what the future holds for the Tiffin University Chapter and what the next generation of GG volunteers do for the seniors. As for right now, thank you GlamourGals for the opportunities and memories of a lifetime.
