Breaking Down Age Barriers Through Beautiful Connections

Arya Z., member of the Barrington High School chapter, details her meaningful experiences with a senior she has developed a connection with named Audrey.

Audrey is one of my favorite senior residents because she truly is a light that brings joy and positivity to everyone around her. You will never catch her without an infectious smile on her face and you will never see her in a bad mood. Audrey is always trying to make others laugh, whether it be through dancing, singing, or jokes. She always shows me that life should be full of happiness and joyful activities. Audrey reminds me that I want to make a difference in my community by spreading kindness, just like how she always does.
