GlamourGals Graduation Reflection

Ava L., member of the Tottenville High School chapter, reflects on her experiences with GG as she prepares for her high school graduation.

As my senior year is coming to an end, it’s time to move on to new beginnings! I can't wait to pass my wisdom on to my younger peers and watch them blossom into amazing young leaders. I've recently been reflecting on what GlamourGals means to me. I came into this expecting to give fun makeovers and have engaging interactions but didn't expect the overwhelming emotions I'd feel leaving Mount Loretto Senior Center each time. I can confidently say I've made really good friends, both seniors and school peers alike, all of whom have different stories and their wisdom to share. Graduating is going to be something very bittersweet, and leaving behind GG is going to hurt, but I can leave knowing it will be in great hands and that I've done my job leaving a GG pink mark at THS.
