Starting 2025 with Joy: A Heartwarming Visit with Senior Friends

Ria P. of the Danville High School Chapter kicked off the new year with a rewarding visit!

We had a delightful time meeting with our senior citizen friends for the first time in 2025. I began by painting Vivian's nails and engaging in conversation. Having painted her nails previously, we easily transitioned to discussing Christmas and other topics. I then provided her with a relaxing hand massage, which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Following this, we played a lively game of New Year's-themed bingo, with me serving as the caller. Everyone received a prize, and we offered a selection of small treats and a self-care basket from which the senior citizens could choose their own gifts.

It was a truly enjoyable event, and I am incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to participate!
