Why Isabella serves with GlamourGals
Isabella Suffredini is a Senior Housing Finance Analyst at Wells Fargo. A graduate of Cornell’s Hotel School, Isabella has built her career around a single mission: reshaping how America approaches aging.
Isabella's path started at age 12, when her close relationship with her great-grandmother led her to start volunteering at an assisted living community in her hometown. That early exposure to hospitality showed her the real impact of relationships, community, and thoughtful care on seniors. She's carried that lesson forward ever since, working across hospitality and senior living with a constant focus on learning from others and helping push the industry toward meaningful innovation.
3 Questions With Isabella
Tell us about a senior or a teen volunteer you'll never forget.
"When I volunteered at an assisted living community in my hometown, a senior named Will would sit on the top of the balcony overlooking the entrance every day I came in and wave, shouting "Hiii Bellaaaa!!" the moment I arrived. I would run upstairs to say hello and we'd chat for a few minutes about our days. He always made me feel so special, and he knew he was very special to me. That feeling and connection is one I'll never forget.”
What’s your “main character energy” song?
"My "main character energy" song is "In the Mood" by Glenn Miller. It never fails to lift me up and make me feel like I'm on top of the world. Part of it's the undeniable swagger of that big-band swing, but a bigger part is personal: when I was younger, I used to play concerts for seniors in the "Songs for Smiles" program, and "In the Mood" was always the biggest hit. Watching a room light up to that song never got old and now, whenever it plays, it always brings a smile to my face.”

"GlamourGals teen volunteers teach me how a small moment of connection can have an outsized impact. They also show how the gap between the generations isn't nearly as wide as we think it is and the best way to fight ageism is simply to spend time with each other and learn each other's stories."
