Why Leyla serves with GlamourGals
My most memorable GG moment was the GG Power Brunch in 2020! It was the experience of a lifetime being able to share my story at the event as well as hear about former experiences from other GG alumni participating on the panel. I also enjoyed networking, providing advice to current GG members as they embark on their journeys as young professionals in their industries, and encouraging them to stay involved with GG beyond their high school/college careers.
Leyla won the Chapter President Glammy Scholarship Award in 2017.

Who is the senior in your own life who shaped you?
"The senior in my own life that shaped me is my grandmother. Aside from being my primary caregiver growing up, she's taught me everything I know about baking the best cakes, planting the most gorgeous roses, and how to dream big! Needless to say, she's been my best friend for as long as I can remember.”

What’s the best piece of advice a senior ever gave you?
"The best piece of advice a senior ever gave me was that travel is the best teacher. Life is short, so explore new places, immerse yourself in new cultures, make new friends along the way, and create new, fun-filled memories!"
