Vanessa’s Grandparents

Vanessa S., a University Of Indianapolis volunteer, writes about her traditions with her grandparents on Grandparent’s Day.

It happened to be around Grandparent’s' Day during one of our chapter’s meetings. This day was really special to me when I was younger because both of my grandparents and my great-grandma would come with me to school to eat breakfast. We also go camping with them every year, which is something they have done with the grandchildren before I was even born. That's my favorite memory with them. Back then, I did not realize how much these moments meant to them. However, now that I am a bit older, I know that they loved spending time with my brothers, me, and now my cousins. This makes me feel like GlamourGals is such an important group.
