Goodie Bag Assembly

The Bay Port High School assembled goodie bags for senior homes. One of the volunteers, Emma G., organized a donation drive!

Over the past few weeks, our chapter has been trying to plan for assembling goodie bags, to help give a little something extra to the residents this year. This was the club's first time attempting this, and it had such an awesome turn out! Personally, I had arranged a donation drive with Maurices, which had been my first drive I have organized. I definitely couldn't have done it without the help of everyone in the club, along with the managers at Maurices. We received over 50 slipper socks, which hopefully the residents will love! (hopefully their feet will love it too!!) Rachel Doyle, GlamourGals CEO, had also been extremely awesome, as she sent us so much amazing stuff to help aid this experience along. Overall, this entire experience was truly heartwarming, from seeing the community collecting donations, and just thinking of all the residents who we are going to be donating to. I know I am definitely hoping this is something we will be able to continue organizing in future years.
