GG National Valentine's Day Card Writing

Gillian R., a Cleveland High School volunteer, shares her experience joining a Zoom kind note writing party for Valentine’s Day.

Today, a few other volunteers from my chapter and I went on a zoom call with GG National to make Valentine's Day cards for our senior home. It was such a positive experience to see how far GlamourGals reaches. I had the experience of seeing volunteers from around the country. On the call, Amanda told us about upcoming GG National events, and more information on service hours, awards, and answers to our questions. It was so nice to make Valentine's day ( and Galentine's day) cards for our senior home that we will give them soon. Along with the other volunteers from my chapter, I created 8 My Dear Friend cards with drawings, hand lettering that was taught by Amanda, and cute Valentine's Day poems to brighten up their days! I am so excited to give these to our senior home and hear back about how much they enjoyed them.
