Galentine’s Day

Samantha K., a Half Hollow Hills H S W volunteer, writes about the seniors she wrote to for Valentine’s Day.

For Valentine's day, we wrote more letters for the seniors at Atria and they were all so cute. We collected a total of 110 letters and the seniors absolutely loved them. We also bought roses for the seniors and gave them with our letters to be passed out. I loved getting to go drop everything off and then seeing their happy faces in the pictures made it all worth it. I'm so glad that we were able to do something to put a smile on their faces throughout this chaotic time.
