One of the many things I love about this club is how nice the nursing home residents are to us! Even if you get a little bit of paint outside of their nail or the paint comes out choppy, they do not care. When I accidentally got a little paint on one of the lady's fingers, I freaked out and tried to look for an alcohol pad. However, the lady just smiled and said that it looked great. It was then that I realized that they mainly just wanted and cared about having company. She did not care if her nails were perfect, because she was having fun and smiling regardless. I became more relaxed and truly started to enjoy what I did with this new understanding.
