Within my years of being a GG volunteer, I have learned many things that I plan to take with me and apply to my future endeavors in life. For example, I learned to practice kindness and to treat everyone with respect because you never know what that person may be going through. I have also learned to spend more time with the elderly in my life because the feeling of neglect and loneliness can take a toll on their lives. Lastly, I have learned the importance of teamwork and cooperating with others as I have previously done to create cards with my fellow chapter members and at past events.
