Grateful for GG
Kshboo S., President of the Thomas A. Edison High School Chapter, shares why she is grateful for her GlamourGals experience and all of the personal development her service inspired.
I am grateful for GlamourGals as it has transformed me into an empathetic and open-minded leader. The experience of working with seniors and serving as the President of my chapter has given me a unique perspective on life that has positively impacted me in countless ways. Through my work with the seniors, I have learned the importance of empathy and compassion in leadership.
The seniors taught me the value of truly listening to others and understanding their experiences, struggles, and perspectives. This has helped me to become a more effective leader by allowing me to connect with those I serve on a deeper level.
In addition, my experiences with GlamourGals have helped me to become more open-minded. I have learned that people come from different backgrounds and have unique experiences that shape their beliefs and values. By embracing this diversity and understanding that there is more than one right way to approach a situation, I have become a more effective and inclusive leader.
Furthermore, serving as the President of GlamourGals has [allowed me to see] the positive impact that community service and volunteering can have on individuals and society as a whole. This has motivated me to continue to give back and make a difference in the world, both through my work with GlamourGals and in other aspects of my life.
