Recruitment Fair Fun

Madison and Teddy Z. from the Stuyvesant Chapter share their experience at their club fair.

Today was my opportunity to host a tabling event at Stuyvesant High School's club fair to promote GlamourGals. The atmosphere was vibrant, with students buzzing around, eager to explore all the clubs. Many stopped by our table, showing genuine interest in our mission of connecting teens with seniors through beauty makeovers and companionship. I was proud to share the meaningful work we do and inspired by the enthusiasm from potential new members. It felt fulfilling to represent a cause that brings joy and bridges generations. - Teddy Z.

Over three days, we dedicated ourselves to introducing Stuyvesant GlamourGals Club to our large student body of 3,400. Our recruitment efforts were bolstered by an array of charming giveaways, including pink GG-branded post-it notes, sleek GG pens, stylish hot pink hair ties, vibrant stickers, and an assortment of notebooks. To sweeten the experience, we offered rice crispy squares, homemade chocolate chip cookies, and classic Oreo cookies. I am excited that students expressed interest in learning about our program and participating in the forthcoming events at senior homes across Manhattan. This overwhelming response underscores a shared commitment to enriching the lives of the elderly, a testament to the compassionate spirit of our community. As we move forward, we carry the momentum of this success, eager to make a meaningful difference where it truly counts. - Madison Z.
