Continuing Connection

Natalie H. of the Natick High School Chapter shares about her two recent visits at the Anthropology Living Home. Request the Chapter Creativity Fund to plan special events like these at your Chapter!

My GlamourGals group has visited the Anthropology Living Home for fun visits. Last month, we visited and it was a super fun experience where we all learned lots of new things about the people living in the senior center and what their lives are like. We also had the opportunity to decorate holiday cookies with them which was super cool as well. We had a pretty good turnout of seniors that showed up to our event which was great too. Overall, this event was an amazing experience where all the club members got a chance to connect to a senior citizen and learn something new from them.

This month’s visit was a super fun visit and we got to meet some new people. We participated in bracelet making, painting nails, and doing makeup. It was a super uplifting experience for us and the elders and we all got to know lots more about the seniors! I can't wait for our next visit and to hopefully see some new and returning faces at the event.
