Senior Sleepover

Olivia K, of the Bellevue Chapter, shares a special visit meant to boost a senior’s spirits.

During one of our visits at Pacific Regent, we were told that one Grandma had surgery and couldn’t come out of her room. And so, we decided to go upstairs and visit her inside her own room! Her face when we all walked in was unforgettable, and we gave her flowers and a goody bag. We all sat on her couch as we painted her nails and learned about her life. In a way, it felt like she had become a teenager again, talking with her friends at a sleepover. The opportunities to spread light through this organization is my favorite part.
