Tennille Kopiasz

Tennille Kopiasz has over 25 years of beauty marketing experience across prestige, designer & mass brands, having held positions in both global developmental & US executional operational roles, with expertise across multiple product categories including cosmetics, fragrance, skincare & hair.

Ms. Kopiasz is currently Chief Executive Officer of Blue Mistral, overseeing both the FEKKAI & Bastide brands, portfolio companies of Cornell Capital. Her objective is to clearly position & define the global strategy roadmap for the long-term growth of FEKKAI (haircare with French flair, established in 1989 by celebrity stylist, Frederic Fekkai), & position it for future global success amongst the highly competitive & dynamic luxury hair category. For Bastide (lifestyle beauty brand celebrating Aix-en-Provence’s terroir & extraordinary artisans), define the portfolio focus & distribution strategy while maximizing brand synergies. On top of this,she is defining the Cornell consumer portfolio strategy including acquiring additional brands with synergies via M&A.

In 2018, Ms. Kopiasz joined Fresh as the Global Chief Marketing Officer. Here she wasresponsible for developing the global brand vision & long-term roadmap, accelerating across brand, distribution & consumer levers including brand equity, creative/content, channel strategy, digital acceleration, consumer engagement, core product focus, sustainable development strategy, systems/processes, culture/organization, with people at the heart. She managed a team of 70+ people across Global Marketing, Product Development, Creative, Packaging Design, Digital, Communications & Image, Social, Storytelling, Creative Operations, Production Management & Retail Operational Marketing. In 2015, Tennille joined LVMH on Dior as the Senior Vice President of North America Marketing where she wasresponsible for managing & developing the future vision of the Dior North America business, closing the gap verses the global leadership position it holds worldwide. She orchestrated the local execution of House’s creations, spanning everything from the go-to market of products, in-store to One Dior media & communications, digital & ecommerce, securing the successful trajectory.

Prior to Dior, Tennille was at Coty Prestige managing their extensive portfolio of licensed fragrance brands in the US including Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Miu Miu, Davidoff, Vera Wang & Jennifer Lopez, positioning Coty as top 3 in the prestige fragrance segment. Tennille began her career at L’Oréal USA & has proven her success in working within a corporate culture that is a profound mix of business analytics combined with the ability to think creatively. Over her 16-year tenure, she worked on various brands in the L’Oréal portfolio including L’Oréal Paris, Giorgio Armani, Ralph Lauren, Maybelline New York & Lancôme.

Tennille is a graduate of Fashion Institute of Technology’s Master of Professional Studies & Bachelor of Science degree program in Cosmetic & Fragrance Marketing & Management. She was awarded the 2013 inaugural FIT MPS Alumni Award for Professional Excellence & the 2014 FIT CFM 25th Anniversary Outstanding Alumni Award. She currently sits on the advisory board of the FIT CFMM Master’s degree program as the first alumni to take on this role, as well as the FIT CFM Bachelor’s degree board & the FIDM Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising board. She is an adjunct Professor at FIT co-teaching Advanced Topics in Leadership & is actively involved in their mentor program as she strongly supports developing the next generation of beauty talent & female leadership.

Tennille currently residesin Larchmont, New York (a covid move from NYC) with her husband Seth Huber & her 9-year-old son Colin.
