Why Rana serves with GlamourGals

Rana (she/her) is a Senior Director in EY-Parthenon’s Corporate & Growth Strategy practice, where she helps organizations solve complex challenges, improve performance, and build the capabilities needed for growth. She brings more than 20 years of transformation experience across the business value chain, with leadership roles at S4 Capital Group/Monks, Interpublic Group (IPG), EY, and PwC.

She was inspired to get involved with GlamourGals after sitting next to Rachel at an Illuminate dinner. Rachel’s story and her mission of serving others deeply resonated with her, particularly the way GlamourGals creates meaningful connections and touches lives across generations.

Who is the senior in your own life who shaped you?

"My grandmother. We were very close growing up, and I think of her every day. She taught me to forgive, be patient, and choose kindness, even when it’s difficult. She had a way of making everyone feel loved and accepted, and that is something I try to carry with me.”

"Courage. True kindness takes strength. It means choosing compassion, doing what is right, and showing care for others even when it isn’t easy or reciprocated.”

What do GlamourGals teen volunteers teach you?

"Volunteers give so generously of their time, energy, and themselves, often putting the needs of others ahead of their own. Regardless of what may be happening in their personal lives, they continue to show up and serve. To me, they are the true embodiment of selflessness and service to others.”
