Galentine’s Day Meeting!

Stefanie B., Thomas A. Edison High School volunteer shares how she made her #MDF Valentines during a kind note writing event hosted by GG National.

At yesterday's Galentine meet with Amanda she showed us her calligraphy work and how to write a Galentine's Day Card! I really loved her writing and saw other GlamourGals members show off their beautiful cards. I wrote four cards, using markers and crayons to decorate and hope the seniors love them. We also listened to Taylor Swift music and had a conversation together, it was enjoyable, peaceful, and relaxing and I'm hoping we can hold another card writing session soon. I am very excited to continue writing cards and express my creativity while sharing thoughtful heartwarming words with the seniors to let them know they are loved and "sweeter than a box of chocolates" for Valentine's Day. :)
