GLTI 2022: Cultivating Creative Changemakers

Volunteers from the New York metropolitan area share how the 20th annual GlamourGals Leadership Training Institute impacted them.

Attending GLTI was one of the most rewarding and empowering things I’ve ever done for myself. I learned so much, not just how to network and improve our club but also how to believe in myself, live in the moment, and be grateful for how far I’ve come. It’s lessons like that that will not only be used in your club, but will make you such a successful person in life. Being surrounded by flourishing women that believe in the same cause as passionately as I do was so moving and I came back so motivated and excited to continue growing with this club. GlamourGals is not only building great leaders, but passionate, empathetic, and driven women and I am so beyond grateful to be a part of it.
— Juliet H. (Rutgers University)
Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and supportive and GlamourGals embodies such a positive environment that the world needs to see more of! The training changed my mindset in so many ways and I will definitely be incorporating what I learned from it into my everyday life. I recommend everyone else to go next year!
— Ericka N. (Glen Rock High School)
It felt so empowering being in a room with so many successful people who all have big dreams of making an impact and helping the world. On my next visit when we go to Job Haines I will apply what I learned by having fun and having a positive attitude.
— Ava C. (Bloomfield High School)
GlamourGals is definitely a strong community where everyone is caring and wants to seek better opportunities. With GlamourGals you’re able to seek a change in society and be able to do something powerful.
— Monica G. (St. Jean Baptiste High School)
