Passion for Healthcare Meets GG
Volunteers from the Hofstra University chapter share how the GG mission aligns with their past and future healthcare experiences.
“This year, I hope to feel empowered and rewarded for the work I do in the community. I feel connected to the topic of elder isolation after working in a retirement home for a long while, and I sadly had to leave the job to come here, for university. It all just seems very meant to be. I cannot wait to get myself involved as much as possible!”
“As a nursing major, I am very interested in helping others and brightening up their day, so I felt as though GlamourGals would be the perfect club for me. The intro Zoom meeting was very helpful and made me excited to look up inspiration for fall cards on Pinterest. I am super excited to become involved and help the seniors feel joy and warmth!”
