Why Lauren serves with GlamourGals

Lauren Nasta is an Associate Director in the New York Global
Investigations Practice of Secretariat Advisors LLC. She is
experienced in conducting complex financial investigations and
providing litigation consulting services. Lauren serves clients across
multiple industries, primarily financial services and life sciences.

Lauren was first introduced to GlamourGals when she helped organize a
volunteer event for approximately 40 volunteers in two NYC nursing
homes to participate in painting flower pots and planting seeds with
seniors. Ever since, Lauren has become more involved in GlamourGals
and joined the Advisory Council in 2024! Lauren found a passion for
mentorship in college at Bentley University when participating in the
school’s Service-Learning program. Lauren was involved in a program
that helped empower young women to reach their full potential. The
program touched on topics such as healthy habits, healthy
relationships, and effective communication and created a safe space
for girls to ask for guidance and advice. Lauren is excited to bring
her mentorship experience to GlamourGals and to assist in fostering
connections across generations.

3 Questions With Lauren

Why does ending elder loneliness matter to you personally?

“I've always had a special connection with older generations, largely because of the close relationship I had with my grandparents. Growing up, I was part of a singing group through my school that sometimes performed at nursing homes, and I remember how much those visits meant to the residents. Seeing their faces light up reinforced how important connection and companionship are, especially for a population that is often overlooked.”

What's your go-to nail polish color, and what does it say about you?

"My go-to color is Fiji by Essie, a soft light pink. I love it because it's clean, polished, and appropriate for any occasion. It reflects my personality: organized, professional, and someone who appreciates timeless style! It also now has a special meaning for me because I honeymooned in Fiji!”

What would you tell your teenage self about leadership?

"I would tell my teenage self to seek out leadership opportunities as early as possible. Also, being smart and hardworking does not automatically make someone a good leader. Leadership requires a different skill set that calls for empathy, communication, and a genuine investment in the people you lead. The best leaders care deeply about helping others succeed.”
